Conversation rather than conservation. Ruin as potentiality

In this artist talk, Panos Kouros will discuss certain directions in his artistic practice which touch on the experiential and political dimension of archaeology. In these works, various in- and ex-situ performative, peripateric and dialogical practices are used to free ruins and archaeological sites from their symbolic and national narratives and reclaim them as public space, as space for conversation rather than conservation, as potentiality in open-ended processes.
